White-Spunner Construction is pleased to announce that Country Club Estates, a senior living facility located in Montgomery, Ala., won an Associated Builders & Contractors of Alabama Excellence in Construction Award.

The modern facility was constructed on the former campus of St. James School and now offers 62 units of affordable, independent living apartments for seniors ages 55 and over. Completed in late 2021, each apartment home features fully equipped kitchens, in-unit laundry and ample storage. The two-story, 67,000 square foot building houses one- and two-bedroom units, with 16 units reserved for veterans in need.

In addition to the spacious units, the complex also includes a community room, activity rooms, a fitness center, computer center, beauty salon, outdoor pavilion and controlled building access with state-of-the-art security monitoring.
