As a general contractor, we are responsible for the overall coordination of your project and the safety of our jobsite. Our team of experienced superintendents and project managers have worked across the country overseeing thousands of projects, subcontractors and vendors. We hold weekly on-site progress meetings to determine future needs, address issues and ensure everyone is aware of timelines. We do everything within our power to make sure our client’s project is completed on time and in budget.

Our approach to cost analysis, control, reduction and value engineering begins with providing focused pre-construction services. Effective pre-construction services are delivered through an understanding of the owner’s project objectives. Afterward, detailed baseline budget estimates and schedules are created to reflect these objectives and goals. These tools become the benchmarks by which the project’s performance is tracked and analyzed to assure that both the project’s budget and schedule goals are met.

We use the design-assist method to offer a more streamlined and effective construction process that can ultimately reduce time and costs, improve constructability and add value to your project. We have discovered that engaging key subcontractors early in the design-assist process leads to better attention to budget needs and promotes a higher level of collaboration with the project team. Furthermore, instead of reacting to draft plans as part of preconstruction services, the design-assist approach forces a proactive approach in which the construction team participates in key elements of the design, replacing the traditional process of design, preliminary cost estimating, redesigns and then final cost estimating.

During the construction management delivery method White-Spunner Construction represents the owner’s interests and provides oversight of the entire project directly for the owner. We are involved with the project from conception to close-out and work closely with the design team to develop budgets, schedules, safety plans and manage contracts and human resources. After the design phase, we act as the owner’s representative to manage every aspect and element of the project to completion.

By self-performing work that is typically subcontracted by other firms, we are better able to serve our clients by reducing costs and increasing quality. Our crews can self-perform site work, concrete, masonry, carpentry, drywall and demolition. Self-performing work allows us to better manage the overall budget and schedule, make adjustments on the fly and most importantly, ensure our strict safety standards are being followed and enforced.
