Mobile, AL (January 22, 2013) - White-Spunner Construction (WSC) is pleased to host several upcoming workshops for the construction industry focused on sustainable building practices. The first, a “Lunch and Learn” workshop entitled “What's Next in the World of Green Building Design & Construction,” will be held Thursday, January 31, from 12-1pm at WSC. LEED Faculty member and architect Rebecca Bryant, of WATERSHED Green Consulting will be the instructor. This complimentary workshop is open to industry stakeholders, but space is limited. Then, on Thursday, February 28 and Friday, March 1, 2013, WSC will host its 2nd Annual 2013 GREENBUILDING UPDATE: “LEED Building Design & Construction: Nuts & Bolts of LEED & LEEDAP Exam Preparation.” Rebecca Bryant, AIA LEED AP of WATERSHED Green Consulting will lead instruction. This CEU-credited workshop consists of two four-hour sessions 8am-12noon each day, and offers 7 AIA/CES, 7 BOMA, 7 CoreNet, 0.7 CSI. “This training is an excellent way for those in the construction and real estate industry to keep their staff and subcontractors on the leading edge of the green building marketplace. Even in a down economy, interest in green building design and construction services continues to escalate.
